Rue Boulanger Bistro

http://www.bakerstreetbistro.com/

Place: Baker Street Bistro

Location: 2953 Baker Street
(between Lombard and Greenwich Streets)

Hours: open for "Brunch" Saturday & Sunday at 9:00am

Meal: Pain Perdu A brunch favorite! ~ two slices of cinnamon French toast, fresh fruit, strawberry coulis & crème fraîche; a side of frites maison; et un grand verre de jus d'orange (avec une paille pliante)

Sure, I know that I should probably start off these workouts of my Breakfastary Starting Rotation by either going to Dottie's True blue café or Baker Street Bistro (see previous 'blog-entry from Sunday, April 30th, 2017) first; however, sometimes, it is just much easier to park over in Cow Hollow and the Marina on a Sunday morning.

I sat outside once again this morning and it was
le temps parfait to do so. It has finally cooled off considerably from the mini-heatwave of the past three days and Monsieur Soleil had not yet awoken. (So,
San Francisco's Summer came on August 31st and left on September 3rd. Typical.)

Really, what else can I say about this great dish that I haven't already said many times already? C'était simplement un petit-déjeuner très exquis une fois de plus...

I think it is funny that they actually offer this in a
"Half portion – one slice instead of two". Who would ever want to order just one slice? Would you ever want to view just half of Michelangelo's Moaning Lisa or watch only half of "Some Like It Hot" (the half without Marilyn Monroe in it, too)?!

Baker Street Bistro only has Tabasco® Brand Pepper Sauce (Original Red Sauce) for use as a condimentary supplement. I just used some of my own Dat'l Do-it® Zesty Chipotle Hot Sauce (Thanks, Mom!) on les pommes de terre.

Glen Bacon Scale Rating:
Pain Perdu A brunch favorite! ~ 8.2 (mais certainement)
